Heavy rainfall continues to impact the mountainous regions of the country, causing devastation and loss of life due to cloudbursts and landslides. Several states are witnessing a decrease in monsoon activity, leading to reduced rainfall. However, some areas still grapple with flooding. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings for several states, urging residents to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. Delhi experienced heavy rainfall on August 17th, with reduced rainfall expected on the 18th. The Yamuna River’s water level is rising due to recent rains, prompting authorities to advise people in low-lying areas to relocate to safer locations.

In Uttar Pradesh, monsoon activity is predicted to decrease on August 18th, with less rainfall anticipated. However, heavy rainfall is expected on August 19th and 20th. The weather fluctuations may affect people’s health.

Bihar is likely to experience a deteriorating weather situation on Monday. The Meteorological Center in Patna has issued warnings for heavy rainfall in several districts, including the possibility of lightning strikes. Residents are advised to take precautions and avoid being outdoors during the storms.

Several districts in Uttarakhand are under alert for heavy rainfall, including Nainital, Champawat, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, and Bageshwar. The Shimla Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in the Kangra district, advising residents to remain vigilant.

Rajasthan is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall in several districts, accompanied by lightning and strong winds. Residents are urged to exercise caution.

In Madhya Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for several districts. Jharkhand is expected to have cloudy skies for the next four days, with light rainfall and the possibility of thunderstorms.
