Chhattisgarh is fortifying its police infrastructure with a massive 255 crore investment, as Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai launched eight cyber police stations and residential complexes in multiple districts. The virtual ceremony from Naya Raipur police HQ marked a new era for the force, with the CM extending best wishes to residents and jawans alike.

Showcasing impressive presentations, Sai commended the aesthetically pleasing and functional designs of cyber thanas, SDOP offices, chowkis, hostels, and homes. ‘Such facilities will motivate our personnel to perform with greater efficiency, bolstering law and order,’ he stated, reaffirming the government’s focus on employee welfare.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma noted the expansion of cyber policing beyond the existing five districts, promising wider coverage. The event also saw the opening of IRB campuses in four districts, nine new thana buildings, a CAF chowki in Mana, and extensive housing in areas like Balod, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Raipur, Bastar, Bijapur, Sukma, Kanker, Narayanpur, Durg, Bemetara, Rajnandgaon, Surajpur, Korea, and Balrampur.

Prominent attendees included top bureaucrats and police brass such as Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, DG Housing Pawan Dev, and ADGs like Kalluri, Pradeep Gupta, Vivekanand Sinha, Deepanshu Kabra, and Amit Kumar. This comprehensive upgrade signals Chhattisgarh’s proactive stance against cybercrime, equipping forces with modern tools for a safer tomorrow.
