The district administration in Pendra has taken stern action regarding the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PM Awas Yojana). Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and indifference. Additionally, a show cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat. Instructions have also been issued to immediately transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to another location. This action was taken under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has emphasized that negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated at any level. He has warned all panchayat staff that strict action will continue against those who hinder the implementation of important schemes like the PM Awas Yojana. This strictness from the administration has caused a stir in the panchayats, with instructions given to other panchayats to implement schemes on time and with transparency.
