Amit Shah Announces Determined Anti-Naxal Operations in Chhattisgarh, Targeting Complete Elimination by March 31, 2026

He warned that there would be no negotiations, and urged Naxals to surrender their arms. The minister praised the Chhattisgarh government’s new surrender policy, highlighting the opportunities for a better future for those who choose to return to mainstream society. Shah also connected the effort to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘developed India,’ emphasizing the need for justice and social stability. He highlighted the progress made in the region through increased security forces, infrastructure development, and improved access to education and healthcare, which have weakened the Naxal base.
