The long-standing speculations surrounding a cabinet expansion in Chhattisgarh have come to an end, as Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is set to expand his cabinet today. The confirmation of the cabinet expansion was announced through a letter issued by Sushant Shukla, the BJP MLA party whip in Chhattisgarh. Three new MLAs are scheduled to take the oath as ministers, with notifications already conveyed to the MLAs by the Raj Bhavan. The cabinet expansion will take place at the Raj Bhavan in Raipur at 10:30 AM, where the three new MLAs will be sworn in as ministers. Following this, CM Sai’s cabinet will comprise a total of 13 ministers. Prior to the expansion, CM Vishnu Deo Sai met with Governor Ramen Deka at the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
