Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai officially inaugurated the National Supercross Bike Racing Championship in Raipur’s Budhapara Stadium. Demonstrating his commitment to the sport and its safety message, CM Sai took a personal motorcycle ride to kick off the event, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the crowd, especially the many young attendees. This national-level competition is being held as part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year celebrations, with a core objective of fostering discipline, responsibility, and safety awareness among young motorcycle enthusiasts. CM Sai emphasized the importance of channeling youthful energy productively, stating, “The speed of our youth is the strength of the nation—but that speed must be safe and balanced. That is the true victory.” He further urged riders to always wear helmets and adhere to traffic regulations, warning against dangerous road racing. The event, held on a custom-built racing track, highlights Chhattisgarh’s growing influence in Indian motorsports. The championship aims to showcase thrilling racing while reinforcing the critical message that responsible and safe driving is paramount.
