Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in a private event in Raipur, the state capital. Discussions centered on various aspects of state development, good governance, and public welfare. CM Sai emphasized his government’s commitment to rapidly advancing inclusive development in Chhattisgarh. He highlighted the historical support received from the state’s 30 million people, leading to immediate action upon forming the government. This included the approval of 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses, providing homes to thousands. The government also initiated paddy procurement at ₹3100 per quintal, including two years of arrears for farmers. Furthermore, the Mahatari Vandan Yojana is providing ₹1000 monthly assistance to 70 lakh women. The government is focused on tribal empowerment through schemes like the distribution of footwear, bonuses for tendu leaf collectors, and the Tirth Darshan Yojana. The establishment of Atal Digital Centers in 1460 gram panchayats, with plans for expansion, and the handover of ‘Ready to Eat’ production to women’s self-help groups were also mentioned. The Chief Minister also addressed the government’s efforts towards the ‘Naxal-Free India’ campaign, aligning with the central government’s goal of achieving this by March 31, 2026. Development work is underway in villages under the Niyad Nellar scheme, facilitated by the commitment of the ‘double-engine’ government. The event featured thought-provoking sessions on Chhattisgarh’s potential, achievements, and future direction, providing a platform for dialogue on governance, empowerment, and innovation, thereby presenting Chhattisgarh’s vision nationally. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Agriculture Minister Dr. Ramvichar Netam were also present.
