Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai recently inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for thirteen significant development projects in Jashpur district, collectively valued at Rs 40.89 crore. This initiative marks a substantial boost for the Farsabahar region, focusing on comprehensive development across various sectors. Four completed projects, totaling Rs 4.16 crore, were officially opened, while nine new projects, with an investment of Rs 36.72 crore, had their foundation stones laid.

Among the inaugurated infrastructure were crucial road developments, including a 1.70 km link from Maskamara to Lavakera main road (Rs 1.81 crore), the Ambakchar approach road (1.00 km, Rs 1.29 crore), and the Mundadih approach road (0.90 km, Rs 95.53 lakh). These road projects are vital for enhancing rural connectivity.

The foundation-laying ceremony covered nine key new works. A significant portion of the investment, Rs 23.96 crore, is allocated for the Pamsala–Saraïtola 11.50 km road construction. Other notable projects include a Rest House building in Farsabahar (Rs 1.72 crore) and a Sludge Treatment Plant (Rs 31.38 lakh). A strong emphasis was placed on improving educational facilities for tribal students, with the commencement of construction for several Post-Matric Tribal Boys’ Hostels in Kolhenjhariya, Farsabahar, and Pandripani, and Pre-Matric Tribal Boys’ Hostels in Lavakera, Pandripani, and Tapkara. These hostel buildings, each costing between approximately Rs 1.52 crore and Rs 1.91 crore, aim to provide better living and learning environments.

This developmental push underscores the state government’s commitment to inclusive infrastructure creation, covering rural connectivity, sanitation, education, and tribal welfare. Chief Minister Sai reiterated his dedication to ensuring that development reaches every corner of Jashpur, reinforcing the vision of progress for all.
