A shocking incident has come to light in the Sakri police station area of Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh. A husband allegedly murdered his wife by hitting her with a tawa (griddle) following a dispute. The argument reportedly stemmed from a disagreement over the celebration of their baby daughter’s Chhathi (sixth-day) ceremony.

The argument escalated, and the husband, in a fit of rage, struck his wife on the head and face with the tawa, causing her death at the scene. Upon receiving the information, the police promptly arrived at the location and apprehended the accused husband. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
