    Chhattisgarh Rainfall Update: Average Rainfall Reaches 55 mm

    Since June 1st, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 55.0 mm. According to information from the State Level Flood Control Room established by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Jashpur district has received the highest rainfall, with 188.4 mm. Narayanpur district has recorded the lowest rainfall, with 13.5 mm.

    Other districts’ rainfall figures include: Surguja (74.4 mm), Surajpur (86.4 mm), Balrampur (187.7 mm), Korea (127.0 mm), and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur (55.1 mm). Raipur district has recorded 38.6 mm, Baloda Bazar 41.9 mm, Gariaband 47.5 mm, Mahasamund 30.4 mm, and Dhamtari 24.1 mm. In Bilaspur, 23.1 mm of rainfall was recorded, while Mungeli saw 14.8 mm. Raigarh received 112.7 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 40.6 mm, Janjgir-Champa 42.5 mm, Sakti 47.6 mm, Korba 63.9 mm, and Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 49.6 mm. Durg district recorded 42.0 mm, Kabirdham 32.9 mm, Rajnandgaon 25.9 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 21.5 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 42.9 mm, Balod 38.7 mm, and Bemetara 14.6 mm. Bastar district has seen 63.2 mm of rainfall. Kondagaon recorded 26.9 mm, Kanker 35.8 mm, Dantewada 73.8 mm, Sukma 20.8 mm, and Bijapur 67.3 mm.
