    Chief Minister Sai Announces Development Projects Worth ₹611.21 Crore for Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai

    Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, addressing a लोकार्पण and foundation stone laying ceremony in Pipariya village of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, stated that the previous government did not seriously focus on the development of the infrastructure of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, even though it was formed during their tenure. He said that the current government has taken the initiative to address this shortcoming and will now equip Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai with strong infrastructure and modern facilities to ensure its overall development.

    Chief Minister Sai announced a historic package of 71 development projects worth ₹611.21 crore in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, including the foundation stone laying for 18 projects worth ₹470.98 crore and the लोकार्पण of 53 projects worth ₹140.23 crore.

    Chief Minister Sai said that these development works mark a solid beginning in the direction of realizing the dream of a developed Khairagarh. He assured that the dreams of the elderly, youth, mothers, and sisters of the district would be fulfilled. Respecting public sentiments, he announced the development of Pailimeta as a tourism area, the construction of a high-level water tank in Chhuikhadan at a cost of ₹50 lakh, the opening of a ‘Paan Cafe’ to promote betel leaf cultivation, the construction of a 500-seater state-of-the-art auditorium in Khairagarh, and the establishment of a college in Mudhipar. He assured that these projects would be included in the budget of the upcoming financial year.

    Chief Minister Sai mentioned his emotional and close connection with Khairagarh, Rajnandgaon, Kawardha, and Manpur-Mohla. Now, with the responsibility of the state, he is moving Chhattisgarh forward on the path of development with full dedication and integrity. He said that in the last one and a half years, the government has rapidly implemented schemes for the welfare of every section and is taking concrete steps towards realizing the guarantees given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    Chief Minister Sai said that to protect the interests of farmers, 21 quintals of paddy is being purchased per acre at the rate of ₹3,100 per quintal, providing them with a direct and beneficial price. Similarly, under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana, 18 lakh houses have been approved and their construction is going on at a fast pace, providing employment to skilled workers involved in masonry, centering plate construction, and other construction work in the villages.

    Describing the ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana’ as a revolutionary initiative to make women financially self-reliant, he said that its forms will be refilled soon. Currently, 70 lakh women of the state are receiving monthly financial assistance from this scheme and many women have also started their own businesses.

    Chief Minister Sai also mentioned the increase in purchase rates in the interest of tendu leaf collectors, financial assistance of ₹10,000 each to 5.62 lakh agricultural landless laborers of the state, and the Ayodhya Darshan of 22,000 devotees so far under the Shriram Lala Darshan Yojana.

    Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the people, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district will soon be included among the leading districts of the state with strong infrastructure and comprehensive development.

    Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is the first government in the country to purchase 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers at a support price of ₹3,100 per quintal. He said that the government’s aim is not only to make schemes but also to implement them 100 percent, so that the benefits reach the person standing in the last row.

    Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, MP Santosh Pandey, Khairagarh MLA Yashoda Verma, along with other public representatives, officials, and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
