Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the construction of the 250-seater Nalanda complex in Saliyatoli village, Kunkuri, Jashpur district, with an estimated cost of ₹4.37 crore. Addressing the gathering, he extended his best wishes to the youth, emphasizing the state government’s commitment to providing quality education in every district.

To achieve this, Nalanda complexes are being established in all district headquarters. In Jashpur district, two such complexes are under construction. The Nalanda complex will be equipped with an advanced library, teaching resources, and technical facilities. The complex will operate 24/7 to ensure uninterrupted studies for students.

Chief Minister Sai stated that the government is digitizing services across all departments through e-office to ensure transparency in civic amenities. Ten innovative initiatives have been implemented in the revenue sector, simplifying processes such as registration and transfer of ownership for the general public.

He also announced that a CBI investigation is underway against those involved in corruption in examinations like PSC, keeping the interests of students in mind. Furthermore, a medical college, agricultural college, horticulture college, nursing college, naturopathy and physiotherapy college will be established in Jashpur district.

The Nalanda complex will provide round-the-clock study facilities, mirroring those in metropolitan cities. It will feature indoor and outdoor study zones, along with an ‘Oxi Reading Zone’ designed for connecting with the natural environment. The complex will operate on an autonomous model, prioritizing environmental protection and powered by solar energy.

The eco-friendly design of the complex will minimize electricity consumption and incorporate over 50 native plant species. To promote the holistic development of youth, facilities such as a youth tower, sports court, cafeteria, ATM, and health zone will also be developed. A self-financed model will be adopted for its operation. The library will house over 50,000 books, a digital library, Wi-Fi zones, and books for competitive exams. Additionally, it will incorporate an RFID-based entry system, biometric ID, RFID for book tracking, and a software-based book management system.
