In Raipur, at the Shubham “K Mart,” shoppers were pleasantly surprised when the Chief Minister of the state visited to personally experience the benefits of GST savings. The Chief Minister, Vishnu Deo Sai, visited the store to understand the impact of GST cuts on the public. He shopped for household items worth ₹1,645 and paid via UPI. During his visit, he interacted with shoppers, inquiring about the effects of the reduced GST rates on the prices of household goods.

Chief Minister Sai purchased essential items and took advantage of the GST rate reductions. He engaged with the people, asking housewives about the impact on their household budgets and discussing their daily lives with youth and senior citizens. He conversed with other customers while buying everyday items. The warm behavior of the Chief Minister moved those present, with many expressing that their leader was among them like a common person.

He discussed GST reforms with shoppers, who noted that they were relieved by the lower prices of medicines and groceries. The Chief Minister remarked, “This is the real goal, that the impact of the reforms reaches the common people.” He then purchased items himself and, upon seeing the new prices, stated, “This improvement is not just on paper, but a visible change in the lives of every family.”

Chief Minister Sai also urged everyone to support the Swadeshi movement, to which people responded, “You go ahead, we are with you.”
