Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed his gratitude to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari for approving the construction of a 4-lane bypass in Keshkal with paved shoulders, costing Rs 307.96 crore. He stated that this bypass will ease traffic congestion and ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted travel in the Keshkal Ghat section. CM Sai emphasized the rapid development of the Bastar region under the double-engine government, attributing this approval to the coordinated development policies of the central and state governments. He acknowledged the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Nitin Gadkari, calling it a decisive step towards Bastar’s progress. The bypass, spanning 11.380 kilometers on National Highway-43 (new NH-30) in Kondagaon district, will facilitate easier navigation through the challenging terrain of the Keshkal Ghat. The construction will provide an alternative route, offering drivers a faster, smoother, and uninterrupted journey while reducing traffic congestion in urban areas, mitigating pollution and fostering environmental balance.
