In Chhattisgarh, solar energy consumers are transforming into not just energy users, but also energy providers. The state is rapidly progressing towards achieving its clean energy goals with initiatives like the PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana (Free Electricity Scheme). Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai made these remarks while addressing a solar energy awareness and promotion campaign held at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai flagged off the Surya Rath (Solar Chariot) to inform and educate people about the benefits of solar energy, the PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, and the subsidies available under it.
