    A shocking incident has come to light in Bijapur district headquarters. The bodies of a young man and woman were discovered hanging from a tree in the forest of Turram. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, conducted a panchnama, and sent the two bodies for post-mortem examination, initiating an investigation into the matter.

    The bodies showed signs of decomposition. According to villagers, the bodies had been hanging from the tree for some time. Bijapur Kotwali Police Station in-charge Durgesh Sharma stated that the case appears to be related to a love affair. A video was recovered from a mobile phone, which the police have obtained as part of the investigation.
    The police officer said the bodies were handed over to the families after the post-mortem. The girl was a minor and a resident of Jangla. The young man, Shankar Mandavi, hailed from Turanggur in the Kondagaon police station area of Bastar. The Bijapur police are currently investigating the case.
