In a display of their true nature, Maoists in the core Naxal area of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, revealed a cowardly act. A female Maoist was severely injured in an IED blast planted by the Maoists themselves in the Bandepara forest area of Madmed police station. After the explosion, her fellow Maoist comrades fled the scene, taking her weapon and abandoning the injured woman in the forest.
