    In Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, former Sarpanch Vijay Jawwa has been murdered by Naxals. The incident took place in Chhinakodepal village, under the Modakpal police station area. The murder has created an atmosphere of terror in the region. The Naxals attacked Jawwa with sharp weapons at his home, killing him and leaving his body on a village road. This act has spread fear among the local populace. It is worth noting that Bijapur district has witnessed the highest number of Naxal eliminations by security forces. In response, the Naxals are reportedly targeting villagers, accusing them of being informers.
