    Gold prices experienced a decrease today, July 5, 2025. The price of 100 grams of 24-carat gold fell by 6,000 rupees, settling at 9,87,300 rupees. Consequently, the price of 10 grams of the same gold decreased by 600 rupees, reaching 98,730 rupees. Between July 1st and July 3rd, the prices of 100 grams and 10 grams of gold had previously increased by 20,700 rupees and 2,070 rupees respectively. The price of 100 grams of 22-carat gold also decreased by 5,500 rupees today, reaching 9,05,000 rupees, while the price of 10 grams fell by 550 rupees on Friday. On the MCX, after reaching an intraday low of 96,735 rupees per 10 grams on July 4th, bullion closed at 96,988 rupees per 10 grams, down by 2 rupees. In contrast, silver prices saw a slight increase, closing at 1,08,438 rupees per kilogram on July 4th, up by 9 rupees.
