The day was special for devotees of Lord Jagannath. A grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra is being taken out from the Shri Jagannath Temple located in Gayatri Nagar, Raipur. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Governor Ramen Deka visited the temple and offered prayers, wishing for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the state.

Also present at the religious event were Minister Tank Ram Verma and MP Brijmohan Agrawal, along with the Chief Minister and Governor. A large number of devotees gathered at the temple complex to witness the Rath Yatra and seek the blessings of the Lord.

After the prayers, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai initiated the Rath Yatra by cleaning the path of the chariot with a ‘golden broom’ as per tradition, which is considered a symbol of devotion and service to Lord Jagannath. The grandeur of the Rath Yatra and the faith of the devotees made the entire atmosphere devotional.
