    The crime rate continues to rise. Incidents occur frequently where people become enemies over minor issues. A similar case has emerged from Bhilai, where an innocent young man was killed due to a dispute between two individuals, leading to widespread shock in the area. At Khursipar, near a liquor shop in Bhilai, a young man was murdered after being attacked with a rod. The deceased, identified as Kamesh, a resident of Khursipar, was struck on the head by Surendra Mahanand with a rod, resulting in his death. It was reported that Kamesh was scheduled to be married in two months. According to information received, Surendra Mahanand had a pre-existing rivalry with Yogendra Singh, a friend of Kamesh. After a fight and subsequent reconciliation, Kamesh was on his way home when Surendra Mahanand attacked him, leading to his death. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, sent the body for a post-mortem examination, and initiated an investigation. The incident has cast a pall of grief over the area.
