A heartwarming story unfolded, demonstrating the power of canine compassion. On the eve of National Dog Day, a Labrador named Shampoo selflessly donated blood to save the life of another dog, Jimmy. The incident occurred in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Shampoo, owned by Rupendra Vaishno, came to the rescue of Jimmy, a female Labrador belonging to Nilima Suryavanshi from Janjgir district. Jimmy had been suffering from a serious illness, experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhea, leading to a critical drop in her blood count to a mere 2.5 grams. Veterinarians recommended an immediate blood transfusion to save Jimmy’s life.
