    A severe incident occurred in Paragaon, within the Gobra Nawapara tehsil area of Chhattisgarh, earlier today. A lightning strike near the Mahanadi riverbank resulted in the immediate death of 27 goats and sheep. In addition, seven other animals sustained serious injuries. The event unfolded following a sudden shift in weather conditions, marked by heavy rainfall and a powerful lightning strike. All the livestock were grazing outside at the time of the accident. The tragedy has significantly impacted the livelihoods of three families in the village, as these animals constituted their primary source of income. Locals have urgently requested financial assistance.
