Intoxication can cloud judgment, leading individuals to commit acts they later regret. A tragic incident in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh, exemplifies this. A husband and wife were drinking together when a dispute erupted. The husband, consumed by anger, attacked his wife with a sharp weapon, resulting in her death. So intoxicated, he slept beside her body. Upon waking, he was horrified to find his wife dead. Neighbors were alerted, and the police were called. The man was arrested, remorseful for his actions, but it was too late.
