    In Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, a man was killed at his in-laws’ house after going to bring his wife home. The accused brother-in-law, Satyam Ram, argued with the man, RamSায় Ram, and then kicked him in the stomach. RamSায় Ram returned home in pain and died shortly after. The police have registered a case and begun investigating. The incident occurred on August 21st when RamSায় Ram went to his wife’s parents’ house in Basti, Bandipa, Lokhandi, to take her home. According to reports, at around 11 p.m., the brother-in-law, Satyam Ram, told RamSায় Ram that he would not send his sister with him, leading to an argument. In a fit of anger, Satyam Ram kicked RamSায় Ram in the stomach. RamSায় Ram died on August 22nd at 4 p.m. The post-mortem report revealed that the cause of death was a ruptured intestine due to the injury. The police have arrested Satyam Ram, who has confessed to the crime, and sent him to judicial remand.
