    Monsoon Fury: Heavy Rainfall Expected Across Northern India, Meteorological Department Issues Alerts

    Widespread heavy rainfall is anticipated across several states in India due to the monsoon’s influence. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings for intense downpours, strong winds, and potential lightning strikes in the coming days. The national capital, Delhi, experienced light to moderate rainfall in various areas on Friday.

    The weather forecast for Delhi predicts cloudy skies throughout Saturday, with the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate rainfall. Similar weather conditions are expected on Sunday. The maximum temperature today is likely to reach 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius.

    Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, in several districts. A warning has been issued for July 6th. Western UP may witness showers with thunderstorms today, with the possibility of lightning and heavy rainfall. Eastern Uttar Pradesh is likely to face strong winds and heavy rainfall in many areas. On July 6th, Western Uttar Pradesh is expected to have thunderstorms and rainfall in most areas, with a chance of lightning strikes in several regions. Most of eastern UP will also see rainfall.

    Bihar and Jharkhand are also bracing for rain. The Meteorological Department predicts thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by rain in all 19 districts of South Bihar, including Patna, Gaya, and Jehanabad. In Jharkhand, heavy rainfall is expected in the northern parts of the state today, with thunderstorms and strong winds of 30 to 40 kmph.

    From today to July 10th, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh can expect heavy rainfall in isolated areas. Rajasthan may also experience heavy rainfall in certain locations. From today to July 9th, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are likely to receive rainfall. Himachal’s Mandi, Kangra, and Sirmaur districts could see very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall on July 6th and 7th.

    Southern Konkan (Southern Coastal Maharashtra) and Goa may experience exceptionally heavy rainfall on isolated locations today, tomorrow, and the day after. Over the next 7 days, Konkan and Goa, the Ghat regions of central Maharashtra, and various places in Gujarat are expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall.
