    Farmers in the Bastar region have received welcome news. The Water Resources Department of the Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned administrative approval for ₹41.3258 crore for the renovation of the main canal (0 to 24 km section) under the Kosarteda Medium Irrigation Project in the Bastar block of Bastar district. This approval is based on the rates effective from May 1, 2025.
