Residents of Delhi, along with several other states in the country, are currently grappling with oppressive humidity. According to the weather department, the southwest monsoon has retreated from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and other regions by September 24th. Following the monsoon’s departure from Delhi, the area is experiencing hot weather. The capital city is expected to have partly cloudy skies today.

The maximum temperature in Delhi today could reach 36 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius. Gentle surface winds from the north-east may prevail in the morning. Delhi will experience partly cloudy conditions until October 2nd. The weather department indicates no likelihood of rain in the region for the next five days, meaning Delhi residents will continue to endure the heat.
