    Chief Minister announces Rs 50 lakh for the institution’s development

    Raipur, / A country can remain strong only when its foundation is strong. The foundation of our country lies in our Sanatan traditions. Sanatan tradition teaches us Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and imparts lessons in patriotism. For the progress of our country and state, it is very important that we impart the same values of Sanatan tradition to our younger generation that we have received from our teachers and parents. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this while addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of Shri Vedamata Gayatri Mahavidyalaya in village Kangoli near Jagdalpur during his Bastar visit today.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Gayatri Mantra is the most important mantra of our Sanatan tradition. This mantra inspires us to walk on the right path. Vidya Bharati institution provides students with excellent education along with patriotic values.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that education holds special importance in human life and with this objective, the state government is emphasizing skill development along with education. He informed that high-level professional education institutions like IIT, IIM are available in Chhattisgarh. Besides this, 341 PM Shri schools have been established in the state where facilities are being developed for quality education. Nalanda campuses are also being established in major cities to provide necessary facilities and a conducive environment to the students of the state. He also provided information about the new education policy and the youth hostel created in Delhi for preparation for competitive examinations. The program was also addressed by the state’s Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankram Verma.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai also announced to provide Rs 50 lakh for the development of the Vidya Bharati institution. On this occasion, Lok Sabha member from Kanker Shri Bhojraj Nag announced to give one crore rupees annually from the MP fund for the development of various institutions located in the state of Vidya Bharati institution and Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev Singh announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh for the development of the institution located in Jagdalpur. The institution head Shri Raj Bahadur Singh Rana, the institution’s general secretary Shri Narendra Taneja and Shri Ram Dutt Chakradhar gave information about the objectives and activities of the institution.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai participated in the Yagna organized at Saraswati Shishu Mandir premises, offered oblations amidst Vedic chants, and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the people of Bastar and the state. He planted teak saplings in the courtyard. On this occasion, Dantewada MLA Shri Chaitram Atami, local public representatives, school teachers and a large number of students were present.
