    The India Meteorological Department has issued a weather alert for Chhattisgarh, bringing relief to residents suffering from intense heat and humidity. The alert forecasts rainfall in various districts across the state over the next two days. The forecast indicates a high probability of heavy rainfall during this period. The department anticipates cloudy conditions in Raipur throughout the day, with expected showers in the capital and surrounding areas in the evening. Districts under the alert include Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Balod, Balrampur, Ramanujganj, Korea, Surajpur, Surguja, Bastar, Dantewada, and Bijapur, among others. The weather department also warns of potential lightning strikes in some areas of the state. The anticipated weather includes heavy rainfall accompanied by strong thunderstorms in several districts over the next two days. Residents are advised to exercise caution during inclement weather and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities.
