    Showers Expected in Delhi During Durga Puja, Rain Alert for Multiple States

    The capital city of Delhi has experienced consistent cloud cover over the past two days, leading to a decrease in the intensity of sunlight and humidity. However, residents still face discomfort from the heat, with little change in temperature. Good news awaits Delhi residents as the weather forecast predicts relief from the heat and humidity experienced over the last 10 days. Rain is expected today and tomorrow, potentially making the weather pleasant during Navratri.

    The weather department forecasts cloudy skies and light rain or drizzle in Delhi for today and tomorrow. The India Meteorological Department has also issued a forecast for rain in Delhi on October 1st. The rain is expected to bring down the temperature, providing relief to the people.

    In Uttar Pradesh, intense heat prevails during the day. The weather department anticipates the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in some areas of western and eastern UP, with no heavy rainfall expected anywhere in the state. Rain may occur in some places in western UP and some areas in eastern UP on October 1st. There is no chance of rain in the state for the next week.

    The weather in Bihar is expected to be mixed today, with sunshine and light showers in some areas. Light to moderate rain may occur in Purnia, Katihar, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Saharsa, and Madhepura. Thunderstorms are possible in most districts of South Bihar, including Patna and Gaya, while heavy rain is likely in Bihar from October 1st to 4th.

    During October 2nd to 4th, heavy rainfall is expected in Jharkhand, between October 2nd and 4th in West Bengal and Sikkim, and between October 4th and 5th in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, on October 3rd in Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall in the Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat in western India today. Heavy rain is also expected in Konkan and Goa today. Rain is possible in Mumbai.

    Light to moderate rain is possible in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland from October 1st to 5th. The weather department has issued a warning for heavy rain on October 2nd and 3rd. Light to moderate rain may occur in some places in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar in Uttarakhand today.

    Showers are expected in these areas with thunderstorms, while light to very light rain may be seen in some places in the remaining mountainous districts.
