In a display of remarkable dedication, two soldiers ran 10 kilometers to donate blood and save the lives of two children in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh. The children, Rohit Dugga and Roshan Dugga, were admitted to the district hospital with malaria and severe anemia. Their condition deteriorated, leading to significant swelling and a critical need for blood transfusions. Upon learning of the urgent need, soldiers from the 29th Battalion, COB, swiftly responded. Following instructions from COB Commander Dushyant Raj Jaiswal, two soldiers, Suvendra Ghosh and Nilesh Kumar, were mobilized. Demonstrating both patriotism and compassion, they ran from COB Nelwad to the district hospital. Their selfless act of donating blood brought immense relief to the children’s parents, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the soldiers’ service and humanity. The soldiers, in turn, wished the children a speedy recovery and a bright future.
