A shocking murder has come to light. A teacher has been arrested for the murder of his wife, whom he killed by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it to the Orchha hospital for a post-mortem examination. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police contacted the accused teacher by phone to gather details, and the accused confessed to the crime. According to the victim’s family, the deceased, Sundari Usendi, was on her way to Orchha from her maternal home in Jaguguda with her daughter Sumitra when the accused teacher, Rupsingh Usendi, and his brother stopped the victim on the way, assaulted her, and then slit her throat with a sharp weapon, resulting in her death. Before the attack, Sumitra was asked to flee the scene. The deceased was the second wife of the accused teacher. She is survived by a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son.

It has also come to light that the accused has four wives. Prior to the incident, the teacher, a resident of Narayanpur, had been living with another woman, which Sundari Usendi resented, and they had been quarreling. Distressed by this, the accused teacher attacked Sundari Usendi, leading to her death. It is reported that Sundari Usendi had been living separately from the accused teacher for the past few months. A case of harassment had been filed by the deceased against the accused teacher. The court had ordered the husband to pay a monthly maintenance of Rs 10,000 to the wife.
