Raipur. The 49th annual convention of Chhattisgarhi Dau Agarwal Samaj is being organized in Bhilai on 12 January. Giving information in the press conference, Central President of Chhattisgarhi Dau Agarwal Samaj, Dau Anurag Agarwal and Patron Dau Dr. Raghunath Prasad Agarwal said that Chhattisgarhi Dau Agarwal Samaj has played a big role in the development of Chhattisgarh. He told that Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, located in the east of Raipur, has 1927 acres of land, Telibandha pond, Telibandha settlement, DKS Super Specialty Hospital built with the donation of social donor Dau Kalyan Singh, formerly TV Hospital in which AIIMS is currently built. It has been built with the donations of Chhattisgarhi Dau Agarwal community. Apart from this, hundreds of monasteries, temples and dharamshalas have been donated by Chhattisgarhi Dau Agarwal Samaj, many of whose lands are currently being bought and sold by illegal people. To stop all this, a Donation Protection Committee will be formed in the convention which will manage the entire donation of the society while understanding all the legal aspects.
He told that among the 4000 Dau Aggarwals present in the 49th annual convention of Chhattisgarhi Dau Agarwal Samaj, carrying forward the tradition of charity of Dau Kalyan Singh ji, 100 rooms were provided for all middle class family members of the society above 60 years of age. In the 49th annual convention of Dau Aggarwal Samaj, 15 front decorations will be awarded in the fields of education, health, administrative service, social service, industry, sports, politics, invention, women upliftment etc. Elaborating further about the convention, the official of Aggarwal Samaj said that among the attractions of the convention, Maha Aarti including Mahapujan of 101 Laddu Gopal and 56 Bhog has been organised. Bhilai Unit President Ramendra Agarwal and Keshav Agarwal were also present in this press conference.
