    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai stated that the Rajim Kumbh Kalp will serve as a medium to showcase the rich traditions and culture of Chhattisgarh.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai held a high-level review meeting regarding the preparations for the Rajim Kumbh Kalp and gave necessary instructions.

    Rajim Kumbh Kalp 2025: A grand event of spirituality and culture.

    A grand Rajim Kumbh Kalp will be held in Rajim, renowned as the Prayag of Chhattisgarh, from February 12 to 26, 2025. This year, this amazing religious and cultural event will be held in a newly proposed 52-acre fairground. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai held a high-level review meeting today in the meeting room located at Mahanandi Bhavan, Ministry, regarding the preparations for the Rajim Kumbh Kalp and gave necessary instructions. He directed to ensure major events of the Kumbh Kalp including the royal bath (Shahi Snan), Ganga Aarti, Sant Samagam, and convenient arrangements for devotees.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Rajim Kumbh Kalp 2025 will be an amazing confluence of religion, faith, and culture, and it is also a beautiful medium to showcase the rich traditions and culture of Chhattisgarh. We must ensure that devotees receive an unforgettable experience here and this event takes our glorious heritage to the country and the world.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai instructed all the departments and administrative staff involved in the organization of the Rajim Kumbh Kalp to work in coordination with each other. He asked to pay special attention to the arrangements for the arrival of devotees, security measures, and cleanliness. Shri Sai said that “It is our collective responsibility to make this event successful and establish it as the identity of Chhattisgarh.” He asked to pay special attention to the preparations for the Maghi Punni Snan to be held on February 12, the Sant Samagam on the occasion of Janaki Jayanti on February 21, and the Shahi Snan to be held on February 26.

    Additional Chief Secretary Shri Subrat Sahu gave important information related to the organization of Rajim Kumbh Kalp 2025 to Chief Minister Shri Sai. He explained about the locations designated for various activities at the venue through a PPT. He gave information about the department’s preparations regarding citizen amenities, arrival of saints, royal bath and Ganga Aarti in the Kumbh Kalp.

    It is noteworthy that the Rajim Kumbh Kalp will commence on the auspicious occasion of Maghi Purnima on February 12 and will conclude on Maha Shivaratri on February 26. The Rajim Kumbh Kalp will be held at the confluence of the Pairy, Mahanadi, and Sondhur rivers. Devotees will take a bath in these holy rivers and receive the benefit of merit.

    The Tourism Department has been made the nodal agency for the entire organization of the Rajim Kumbh Kalp. Like last year, this year too, there will be a huge gathering of saints and ascetics in this Kumbh Kalp, which will last for 15 days. Maghi Punni Snan, Shahi Snan, and Sant Samagam on the occasion of Janaki Jayanti will be held specially. Daily cultural activities, fairs, stalls (maddai), Mina Bazaar, and departmental exhibitions are also included as special attractions of the Kumbh Kalp.

    MLA Shri Rohit Sahu, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary Religious Endowments Shri Anbalagan P., Director Culture Shri Vivek Acharya, IG Raipur Shri Amaresh Mishra, Collector Gariaband Shri Deepak Agrawal and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
