A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, amid heavy rainfall. Reports emerged yesterday evening of three individuals who had gone missing at the Deori picnic spot. A rescue operation was immediately launched, and tragically, one body has been recovered. Local authorities are overseeing the search for the remaining two individuals. Divers are tirelessly working at the scene, and assistance is being provided by local fishermen and boat operators. Surveillance is being conducted using drone cameras to monitor the water surface and surrounding areas, aiding in determining potential drift patterns or entrapment locations. A team from the SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) from Bilaspur is en route to the site. Administrative officials have assured that all available resources are being deployed, and preparations are in place to address any situation. The rescue team remains in constant contact, closely monitoring all developments.
