    Weather Update: Heavy Rainfall Expected in Several States, Including Delhi, Goa, and Rajasthan

    Monsoon activity is picking up pace across various parts of the country. The forecast includes heavy rainfall alerts for the hill states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir over the next three days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that Delhi will experience rainy weather for the next seven days, from July 25th to 30th. The minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius and the maximum 36 degrees Celsius on Friday. Heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and the northeastern states. Heavy rainfall is likely in several parts of Odisha and West Bengal on July 25th. A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar from July 25th to 28th. Thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds of 30-40 kmph are expected in these areas.

    Heavy rainfall is likely in the coastal areas of Karnataka on July 25th. Moreover, heavy rainfall is expected in Kerala from July 25th to 29th. Heavy rain is also possible in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh from July 25th to 27th, accompanied by strong winds of 40-50 kmph.

    Goa, central Maharashtra, and Gujarat are forecast to receive heavy rainfall from July 25th to 30th. Heavy rain is expected in Marathwada on July 25th and 26th, while Saurashtra and Kutch may experience intense rainfall between July 26th and 29th.

    Very heavy rainfall is likely in eastern Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh on July 27th and 28th. The mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir can expect rain from July 25th to 30th. Heavy rainfall warnings have also been issued for Punjab and Haryana on July 27th and 28th.

    Thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate rainfall will continue in the entire northeastern region, including Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Tripura, for the next five days. Very heavy rainfall is expected in these states on July 26th. The IMD forecasts that heavy rainfall will continue in different parts of the country for the next few days, leading to waterlogging, landslides, and rising water levels in rivers in both hilly and plain areas.
