    The weather in Chhattisgarh remains unfavorable due to a weather system forming in the Bay of Bengal. Heavy rainfall is expected in several parts of the state today. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in South Chhattisgarh for the next two days, after which the intensity of the rain may decrease.

    Over the past 24 hours, most parts of the state experienced rainfall. Heavy to very heavy rainfall was recorded in some places in the Raipur, Durg, and Bastar divisions. The maximum temperature in Bilaspur was 32.6 degrees Celsius. According to the weather department, Gobra Nawapara and Rajim received 14-14 cm of rainfall, Arang 13 cm, Patan, Mandir Hasaud, Gunderdehi, Balod, and Mohla 11-11 cm, Baloda Bazar and Khadgaon 10-10 cm, Dhamtari, Pallari, Daundi, Audhi, Bhakhara, Pakhanjur, and Gurur 9-9 cm, and Mana-Raipur Airport, Antagarh, Manpur, Bhilai, Pithora, Magarlod, Mahasamund, and Raipur city 8-8 cm.

    Chhura, Kurud, Nerharpura, Labhandih, Dharsiva, Orchha, Kasdol, Kukrel, Chhotedongar, Charama, Lawan, Mainpur, and Komakhan received 7-7 cm, while Bhanupratappur, Makdi, Kharora, Dungrikondal, Ghidhauri Tundra, Ahivara, Arjunda, Kutru, Kanker, and Simga recorded 6-6 cm of rainfall. Most other places received less than 6 cm of rainfall.

    Alerts Issued: The Meteorological Department has predicted medium rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds (30-40 km/h) for the next three hours in Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, and Gariaband. An orange alert has been issued in these areas. A yellow alert has been issued for Sukma, Bijapur, South Bastar Dantewada, Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Raipur, Baloda Bazar, Durg, Bemetara, Surajpur, Korea, and Balrampur, with the possibility of medium rainfall.

    Raipur Weather: The sky in Raipur will remain mostly cloudy today. Rain is expected with thunder and lightning. The temperature is likely to range between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius.
