In a pointed attack on the opposition, Haryana Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa declared Congress’s slide into irrelevance stems directly from its embrace of family-dominated politics. This candid assessment came during a media interaction in Chandigarh on Wednesday, where he dissected the party’s existential crisis.

Gangwa warned that without a return to democratic ethos, Congress faces perpetual marginalization. ‘Self-reflection and reform are non-negotiable for survival,’ he advised, predicting worsening fortunes if ignored. The party’s failure to unite and reconnect with voters has left it adrift.

Addressing Congress’s criticism of BJP’s national president polls, Gangwa called it a desperate distraction. He detailed how BJP upholds democracy rigorously at every level—from local booths to national leadership—rejecting any deviation. ‘Our processes are ironclad and transparent,’ he declared.

Locally in Haryana, Congress resembles a house divided, plagued by infighting and lacking synergy. Public faith has evaporated, and rebuilding demands tireless fieldwork. Yet, the prevailing chaos casts doubt on any turnaround.

Gangwa extolled BJP’s credentials as a mass-based outfit singularly devoted to citizen interests. ‘We operate on inclusive development principles, expanding prosperity to society’s fringes,’ he said. Party elections exemplify this democratic zeal.

On the horizon, the minister previewed a welfare-oriented budget, immune to dilutions. His words encapsulate BJP’s robust vision against Congress’s apparent self-destruction, promising fiercer electoral contests.
