    A BJP worker, identified as Siyaram, has died from injuries sustained during a police lathicharge in Ghazipur on September 9th. The incident occurred amidst a protest staged by BJP workers. Following the altercation, six police personnel have been suspended, including the SHO of Nonhara, one Sub-Inspector, one Head Constable, and three Constables. Additionally, two SIs and three Constables who were present at the police outpost during the incident have also been punished. The case is slated for investigation by a Magistrate. Siyaram’s body is currently undergoing a postmortem examination.
