In Sambalpur, Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan participated in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ mass plantation drive. He emphasized the initiative’s role in fostering environmental hope, supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and advancing India’s net-zero target by 2070. Schools, colleges, and various organizations joined forces to transform the drive into a widespread movement. Earlier, Pradhan, along with Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, attended the Rath Yatra celebrations, offering prayers to Lord Jagannath.
