In a fiery rebuttal amid mounting political rhetoric, JD(U) parliamentarian Sanjay Kumar Jha has condemned Mamata Banerjee and select opposition voices for exploiting the untimely death of Maharashtra’s Ajit Pawar in a plane accident. The Patna-based leader insists such opportunism undermines national unity.

During a media interaction on Thursday, Jha reflected on the tragedy’s gravity. ‘It’s a profound loss, and Sharad Pawar himself has appealed against turning it into a political circus,’ he remarked. Despite this, certain elements continue their blame game, which Jha deems detrimental.

Prioritizing safety over sloganeering, the MP advocated for stringent checks on private aviation. ‘Investigate plane allocations, maintenance protocols, and pilot training rigorously. A comprehensive inquiry is essential, and SOP revisions are overdue,’ he stressed, pointing to systemic lapses that demand governmental intervention.

Jha didn’t hold back on the opposition’s track record. ‘Centuries of history reveal one champion for women’s upliftment: Nitish Kumar. Pre-his era, Bihar’s women faced unimaginable hardships—a fact etched in collective memory.’ He charged rivals with fostering unrest in Bihar through calculated provocations.

However, optimism prevails for Jha. ‘Bihar’s populace has evolved; they’re not falling for these ploys anymore. Faith in PM Modi and CM Nitish remains unshakable.’ Celebrating women’s empowerment, he spotlighted Jeevika groups enabling their active participation in politics and family sustenance.

This episode highlights deepening political fault lines, yet Jha’s message resonates: prioritize probe and progress over partisan point-scoring.
