Explosion in Firework Box During Ganesh Visarjan in Bengaluru: One Boy Dead, Six Injured

A tragic incident occurred in Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural district, Karnataka, during the Ganesh Visarjan procession in Muttur. A box of fireworks exploded during the immersion ceremony, resulting in the death of a boy and injuries to six others, including a police constable. The deceased boy, identified as 15-year-old Tanush Rao, was a resident of Muttur. The incident took place on Friday, August 29th, between 5:45 and 6:00 PM. The Ganesh Visarjan was organized by the Friends Yuva Group. A box of fireworks on a lifting vehicle in the procession suddenly exploded.
