Congress spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh dropped a bombshell on Friday, forecasting that irate voters will wipe out Trinamool Congress from 25 constituencies in the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. This sharp attack targets Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s stronghold amid rising public anger.

Detailing his rationale, Vallabh pointed to rampant corruption, youth unemployment, and violence under TMC rule. ‘Janata will nip TMC in the bud on 25 seats,’ he said, using strong Hindi phrasing to emphasize the electorate’s resolve.

The prediction reflects Congress’s aggressive strategy within the opposition alliance. Vallabh accused TMC of betraying Bengal’s development promises, from stalled infrastructure projects to misuse of central funds.

Responding swiftly, TMC spokespersons labeled Vallabh’s remarks as desperate opposition tactics. Yet, internal surveys reportedly show anti-incumbency waves in several districts.

With Bengal’s political landscape heating up, Vallabh’s words signal a fierce contest ahead. Opposition parties are mobilizing resources to challenge TMC’s decade-long dominance, hoping to translate public dissatisfaction into electoral gains.
