The Nikki Bhati murder case in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has taken a new turn with fresh allegations emerging. Nikki’s sister, Kanchan, has accused her husband Vipin, along with his parents and brother, of setting Nikki on fire due to dowry demands. Police have already arrested Vipin, his parents, and his brother in connection with the case. However, Vipin’s sister-in-law has come forward with counter-allegations, claiming she was also a victim of dowry harassment and mistreatment by Nikki’s family, including Nikki herself, Kanchan, and her husband Rohit. Meenakshi stated that Nikki had set herself on fire and insisted Vipin’s innocence. Meenakshi also shared that a week after her marriage, the dowry car was sold off and a Scorpio was demanded instead, leading to repeated beatings. She claims she was rescued by the police after being held against her will.
