    IMD Forecasts Continued Heavy Rainfall in Himachal Pradesh Until July 23rd

    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather advisory predicting continued moderate to heavy rainfall across Himachal Pradesh through July 23rd. Senior Scientist Sandeep Kumar Sharma from the Meteorological Centre in Shimla confirmed the extended period of expected precipitation. Several districts, including Sirmaur, Kangra, and Mandi, have already experienced significant rainfall. Nahan in Sirmaur district recorded 57 mm of rain in the past 24 hours. A yellow alert for rainfall is in effect for various districts, urging caution among residents.
