    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for numerous districts across the country, anticipating heavy rainfall. This alert, announced on Wednesday, covers regions in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, North Punjab, North Haryana, East Rajasthan, South-West Uttar Pradesh, North-West and East Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. The IMD forecasts moderate to heavy rainfall in these areas over the next three hours, raising concerns about potential flash floods, landslides, and waterlogging. Specific districts under the red alert include various locations in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana.
