Congress leader Jairam Ramesh expressed concern on Monday regarding the whereabouts of former Rajya Sabha Chairman and former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who has been out of public view since the evening of July 21st. Dhankhar resigned from the position of Vice President on July 21st. Ramesh questioned the meaning behind a recent meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and another former Vice President, M. Venkaiah Naidu, asking what was happening. He noted that the former Chairman of the Rajya Sabha has been unseen and unheard since July 21st.

The Congress leader inquired in a post on X, mentioning reports in Telugu media suggesting that the former Chairman of the Rajya Sabha (Venkaiah Naidu) recently met with Prime Minister Modi for 45 minutes. Ramesh asked, “What is going on?” Jagdeep Dhankhar has not been seen publicly since resigning as Vice President on July 21st, while Venkaiah Naidu met with Prime Minister Modi during a recent visit to Delhi.
