Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has expressed profound sorrow following the deadly explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort metro station. Extending heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Japanese government and its people, she conveyed sympathy to the victims and their grieving families. “I am in deep sorrow to learn that many precious lives were lost in the explosion that occurred in Delhi, India,” Takaichi stated via social media. She also extended well wishes for the injured, adding, “I offer my sincere prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.” The blast, which tragically claimed 12 lives, has prompted a high-level security review in India. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has chaired multiple meetings to assess the national security situation in light of the incident. Investigations have been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), underscoring the seriousness with which the government is treating the event as a potential act of terror.
