A devastating road accident occurred in Chhatarmandu on Monday. A bus packed with passengers collided with a coal-laden truck, resulting in three fatalities. Approximately 24 other passengers were injured in the incident, with six reported to be in critical condition.

The deceased include the truck driver, Manish Kumar, a resident of Keredari Hazaribagh, and a woman named Vilaso Devi, a resident of Jena Mod Bokaro. After receiving initial treatment, more than half a dozen injured passengers were referred from Sadar Hospital to RIMS for better care. Upon receiving news of the accident, Ramgarh police arrived at the scene and initiated rescue operations.
